You can spend hours plumbing the depths of the Ethno Instrument's Middle East, Mediterranean and Eastern European collection of instruments, loops and phrases. Just for the cymbalum alone, featured at the beginning of this this video, there are four different variations of the instrument: sustain, sustain hard, mute, mute hard, and tremolo. Also heard in this video are the jubus, darbuka and a healthy assortment of Middle Eastern loops, Mediteranean vocal phrases and percussion. The old woman's voice at the end is just one of dozens and dozens of male, female vocal phrases, including "diva", old and young variations.
