This piece starts off with Chinese pipa and percussion. The wind instrument you hear in the next section is a layered and modified form of the Isshakausansun (a form of Shakuhachi). Jordan then amps up the intensity by triggering Japanese taiko drum loops with his left hand and then soloing over them.
