Unlimited instrument parts

Why settle for 16 or 64 instruments in your sampler? MachFive 2 allows you to add as many parts as your music requires. Load massive orchestras and complex arrangements and save the setup with your project. Play loops, phrases and instruments side by side in the unified environment of MachFive 2. Enable or disable disk streaming per part for efficient performance and memory allocation.

Up to 256 MIDI channel input

Depending on the host sequencer, MachFive 2 provides for up to 256 discreet MIDI channel inputs. In Standalone mode, MachFive 2 allows for 64 discrete MIDI channel inputs.

Up to 200 discrete channels of audio output

Depending on the host sequencer or audio interface hardware, MachFive 2 provides for up to 200 discrete channels of audio output. For example, Digital Performer allows for 99 stereo busses and Mach Five has individual access to all those busses, as well as to an additional two channels via the main stereo output.

Instrument Parts can be routed to separate outputs. Layers within Parts can be routed to separate outputs. Even individual Samples or Keygroups can be routed to separate outputs. MachFive 2 provides the MIDI and audio routing flexibility you need for the most demanding instrument setups.

External MIDI Control

Part and FX parameters can be mapped to external MIDI controllers with the MIDI Learn function. Externally control modulators within MachFive 2 for powerful shaping of sound parameters.

Expert Mode

MachFive 2 allows you to stack multiple Parts onto similar MIDI channels. This creates an instrument stack. Expert Mode takes the instrument stack to the next level. Each Part can be enabled or disabled with pre-assigned MIDI Keyswitches. Parts can be limited to keyboard zones. Parts can be limited to velocity ranges. This allows for powerful dynamic control of multiple instruments and articulations in a live performance situation.
