828mk2 and Traveler analog inputs can operate at plus 4 db or minus 10 db

The analog inputs on the 828mk2 and Traveler ship at a default of +4db. You can easily switch the inputs to -10db, if desired.

  • Launch the MOTU CueMix Console. Above each analog input is a button labeled "+4". Click on this button to change the input to -10.
  • Each analog input can be independently assigned to +4 or -10. On the Traveler, inputs are adjusted in pairs.

You can also make this change from the front panel of the 828mk2 or Traveler:

  • Turn the PARAM knob right until you see "4/10". Use the CURSOR knob to move the cursor to the desired channel (the currently selected channel is flashing). Press the VALUE knob to toggle between +4 and -10.

For information on how to make this change on a 2408mk3 or 24 I/O, check out the tech note, Changing the inputs on the 2408mk3 or 24I/O to operate at plus 4 or minus 10 db.
