MOTU's drivers for FireWire and PCI audio interfaces are Core Audio compliant and generally work in any application that supports Core Audio, including Apple's native applications. Functionality would depend on the particular application. For example, an application supporting multiple streams of audio could utilize multiple output pairs, whereas one that only supports a more basic audio structure might only support two outputs.

Our USB MIDI interface drivers are Core MIDI compliant and will be usable in any application that supports Core MIDI.

NOTE: Pro Tools software does not support Core Audio, so MOTU's audio interfaces cannot be used in Pro Tools; however, MOTU MIDI interfaces can be used in Pro Tools.
